Happy Birthday Chase!
Good morning!!
Check back after noon to see today's card.....we made some awesome cards last night at the Shoebox Swap and I'm going to share one of them with you. The lighting isn't the best at night so I'll take a good picture when it's daylight.
In the meantime....It's hard to believe that exactly 16 years ago today.....at this very moment 5:45am.... Chase was born. Since I've shared some of his art with you over the past few months...I thought it would be fun to show you a picture or two :)
I'm showing two pictures.....he and I just a few hours after he was born and the 2nd one is from a couple days ago.
Here's a funny story for ya....Brook was taking our picture and I was so darn short that I had to run across the room to get my shoes that make me at least 2 or 3 inches taller...hence the reason for the smirk on my face & the smile on Chase's. My head actually comes to his shoulder..... I can't believe I'm so short or he's so tall :)
See ya!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHASE !!!! That's a great mother/son picture !!! The years go back way too quickly, don't they my friend. Ours sons are almost the same age...mine is 16 now but he'll be 17 in February.
Your new photo on the sidebar is beautiful, girlie !!! Love it and you !!!
Hug the ones you love :)

I know what you mean about being short (5'3"). I never felt short until my 2 boys became teenagers that have now surpassed me in height ...one over 6' the other near 6' and still growing. Happy bithhday to Chase.

Oh my gosh!!!
I was scrolling down your blog and ran across this post and had to read it. I, too, have a son, Chase, aka: "Chaser" that just turned 16 years old on the 10th of November :)
